[Private]
The preparations are almost complete. Soon, I will unveil my finest masterpiece. But why does it hurt me so much to think about?
Perhaps I shouldn't have involved her. It'll be painful now, but maybe, just maybe...No, she's probably too hard-headed for that.
Heh, when did I turn into such a weeping lesbian? And all this time, I thought I liked boys. Funny how death and chance meetings put things into perspective.

Thanks to the lovely Xiao Feng, it has come to my attention that I am in dire need of an assistant.
Due to the nature of my work, I'd prefer it be someone familiar with the community.
The job entails helping me along on photo and filming shoots, and visiting other places to help me better with what needs to be seen.
Also, you need to make a better cup of coffee than that place on 6th. Granted, that isn't that difficult.

Pay is negotiable, depending on the type of work you do and how much.
I look forward to seeing a response.

[Log in progress: Nadine and Neil's Amusement Park adventure]

Where: cairo; an amusement park.
Who: Nadine and Neil
Why: Just because.

Nadine:
Nadine pushed through the crowd, sighing as she glanced at the people laughing and smiling. She wished she could be happy as easily as they could, but playing at an amusement park didn't have the same effect on her as it did on them.
She decided it wouldn't hurt to join the line of people and buy a ticket to get in. After a minute, she reached the ticket booth and bought a ticket, stepping inside and looking up at the rides. The Merry-go-round caught her eye and she headed towards it, smiling slightly.

Neil:
Neil sat on a bench opposite the merry-go round. Oh, the merry go round, the carousel, the colours. So many different people, but they all flocked to the most simplistic of rides. People really were interesting.

Nadine:
She felt silly as she made her way through the group of short, cute kids giggling and laughing as they waited for their turn. She looked around as she waited for the next turn, watching the people go back and forth. A child was running, his flashlight briefly sweeping over a man sitting on a bench. Nadine couldn't help but stare, it was unusual to see a man with such long hair around Cairo.

Neil:
Neil looked around at the crowd, making notes as he surveyed. Families, couples, females. People also adhered to sterotypes. Especially when it came to this sort of thing. Chuckling to himself, he stood up and got in line. What harm would one ride around do, anyway?

Nadine:
Nadine looked at the man curiously as he joined the line, but looked away, not wanting him to notice her. She watched the kids in front of her get in and followed, but she couldn't help glancing over her shoulder at the man before she joined the rest of the people fighting to find a spot on the ride.

Neil:
Neil waited patiently for his turn, figuring he'd have to wait until next ride anyway. the people all looked like they were having so much fun, except for one person. Was she...trying to get a look at HIM? He laughed a little and waved to all the people on the merry-go round to see what would happen.

Nadine:
Nadine saw him wave and quickly plopped down on a normal bench, her hands on her lap and her eyes down. She didn't feel like fighting with a kid just to find a spot on a horse or any other thing, and she was too embarassed that the man had caught her looking.

Neil:
Ah, so she was looking at him. It was to be expected, of course. He was very pretty, and fabulous, and a fashion genius too. He was used to being looked at, but he always liked it nonetheless. As he watched the carousel turn, he ulled out a small camera and started taking pictures of it. This would make a nice scene to come back to with a video camera at some point.

Nadine:
Nadine raised her eyes just a bit, watching as he took out a camera and started taking pictures. She noticed for the first time that his hair wasn't the only strange thing - those clothes were certainly something special. She got up as the ride slowed to a stop and glanced again at the man.

Neil:
Neil was very into his work, he knew what he was shooting, and was getting a few different angles on it. And probably more than a few odd looks. "Fabulous," He said quietly to himself,"this will make an excellent start to see how these people go about their normal lives." It's almost too bad they have to die. At least they can be happy for one day.

Nadine:
She jumped off the ride and hesitated for a moment - ask him what he was doing, ignore him and leave? Her curiosity won and she found herself walking towards him. She walked in front of his camera, looking up at him. "You shouldn't take pictures of people without their permission." She said, crossing her arms. She wondered if he could tell she was nervous.

Neil:
He looked up. "Oh, it's okay. It's not as if i'm using them for anything bad. It's just research." He smiled at her. "really, though, I just like the carousel. It's the best, most diverse part of a park where you can see everyone lined up together."

Nadine:
"Research? Are you a photographer or something?" She asked, even more curious than before. "What brings you to Cairo? You're definitely not Egyptian."

Neil:
Striking a pose, he exclaimed,"I'm going to be a famous filmmaker! I thought I might be able to find my film here. Are you interested in things like that, miss?"

Nadine:
Nadine couldn't help but blush, people were staring at them. "I'm - um, everybody's staring at us, did you have to strike a pose?"

Neil:
"Of course I did. It's part of being a director. You have to be eccentric; it's in the job description. Though, I suppose if you like, we can go someplace out of the way and talk."

Nadine:
"I'd - if it's okay?" She said, looking away. "I'd like to hear how you can make Cairo into a good film, mister director."

Neil:
"Of course! Shall we go sit down over there?" He motioned to a table near a place where they sold popcorn and sweets.

[Cairo Angels]
There are cookies in the kitchen for anyone who wants some. I made a bunch. Just don't look UP.

[Private]

I hope they don't notice the cookie dough on the kitchen ceiling. Things have been tense enough around here. Or maybe I'm just off.
I'm wondering just how much good we're doing. People are still suffering, nothing's changing except there are less people in Cairo now.
Why do we have to stay in Cairo?
I've seen people in 5 different countries now suffering the same way, wanting someone to come in and save them from their plight, but I know they would just act like the people who are keeping them down now if they were to have a better life. This isn't how humanity should be...
Yes, I'm on the right side. Humanity needs a reset button.
Like, way up there, God's saying "OMG humanity, you totally fail at life, here are my messengers to collect you all back to the factory. We need a new model."
And that's what the Angels are, I suppose. I wondered if I was doing the right thing, but now I know I am.
Becasue the Seals are wrong and we are right, I need to get out of this city and help some more people find peace.
Not just in Cairo. It wouldn't be fair.

[Cairo Angels]
I'm thinking of going on a small tour of Egypt, to see what we can try to blow up next~! I mean, Cairo shouldn't have all the dead people, should it? I'm not taking any killing stuff, though. It's like a vacation! <3
